Chinese Culture sharing for Railway Mandarin classes
3 April 2018-Mandarin Language and Culture Centre (MLCC) organized Chinese Cultural classes both at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) Gambang and Pekan campuses on last Tuesday.
Chinese Cultural classes such as learning how to use chopsticks, all about Chinese tea and Chinese working culture & etiquette. The Chinese Cultural classes were conducted by Ms. Yong Ying Mei (Director of MLCC), Ms. Hooi Yan Yee, Mr. Tan Wai Chung and Ms. Cai Haixia (Mandarin Teachers).
The trainees were exposed to basic Chinese culture as a preparation for them to work in the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project which is a collaboration project between Malaysia Rail Link (MRL) and China Communications Constructions Sdn. Bhd. (CCCC). The trainees claimed that the Chinese cultural classes were useful for them to adapt with the Chinese working culture.
