Deutsch, the main language that use in Germany. Besides that, it is also the main language for various country such as Belgium, Austria and Switzerland. Even though the German alphabet looks the same as normal English but the pronunciation is totally different. Being introduced to phrase “Wie schreibt man das?”, we repeated practice using the appropriate German spelling in the classroom. Ich heiße Ilyana. Ee-E, El-L, Upsilon-Y, Aah-A, En-N, Aah-A. Sehr Interessant!!
Since the first weeks of lecture until 3rd week, Frau Yanti taught us how to introduce ourselves in German. For example, “Ich heiße...” which means my name is... and also “Ich komme aus...” which means I come from…
Then, we begin the conversation with greetings among our friends. Hallo! is the common greetings that use in Germany. Other than that, there are other ways of greetings such as Guten Morgen-good morning, Guten Tag-good afternoon, Guten Abend-good evening and Gute Nacht-good night.
We couldn’t wait for the next lesson. How about you? Have you learned any foreign language? Try it!! Bis dann! Tschuss!!!
