Parallel to the effort of improving the quality of human capital development, it is significant that the latest advancement in the field of engineering and technology is integrated into various disciplines such as human performance, language learning, communication, Islamic studies and education.

With its state-of-the-art facilities and uniquely stimulating environment for research, Centre for Modern Languages & Human Sciences (CMLHS), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) offers new masters and doctoral degree programmes in Humanities Technology. These degrees draw on a strong link between human values and the advancement of technology.

Why Study Humanities Technology?
Humanities technology is the study of human performance in relation to the advancement of technology. The central premise of humanities technology is that research and practice in human performance can be better explored by considering the applications and influences of technology on human values and civilisation. Technological evolution has shown how human nature, their needs, functions, values and growth have changed and become interdependent. Humanities technology is therefore a graduate program that seeks to explore this intricate relationship between human values and technology.
